How do Travel Deals work?

Every morning, aubaine.ca collects discounted flights departing from 14 Canadian cities: a network of deal sites for each city, supplemented with Google Flights reference prices. Every reading is dated and kept, and the history goes back to 2021 thanks to archive backfill. Right now, 9,269 deals are accumulated across 956 distinct routes.

What is it for?

Knowing whether a flight price is genuinely low. A displayed "deal" means nothing without a reference point: for each route we compute an in-house average from the accumulated readings — it only appears once a route has at least 3 readings, and a discount percentage only appears when a real reference price exists. No invented discounts, ever.

Tools to follow your routes

Switch between card and list views, browse past collection days one by one, and open a route's page to see its full price curve. Once logged in, favorite your departure city and one route: the page will open directly on them at every visit, with the latest spotted price.

Because collection runs every morning and flight prices move fast: today's deal can be gone tomorrow. A quick look at your departure city and you know right away whether it's time to book.

It is the average of the best daily prices logged for that route. It only appears once a route has at least 3 readings, and a discount percentage only appears when a real reference price exists.

Is it free?

Yes. No registration is needed to browse the deals; an account is only used to save a favorite city and route.

How do I follow a route I care about?

Open its destination page to see its full history (latest price, best price, average), then favorite it once logged in: it will show first on every visit.
