1. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices on aubaine.ca are in Canadian dollars, before taxes. Sales taxes (GST and, depending on your delivery province, QST or HST) are calculated and shown at checkout, before you confirm.

Each product is sold either by a partner merchant (who collects and remits the taxes on the sale) or directly by aubaine.ca. In all cases, the total shown at checkout is the final amount.

2. Delivery and shipping

Depending on the product, shipping is handled by the merchant (or its supplier) or by aubaine.ca. Delivery times are shown on each product page. Every shipment includes a tracking number.

In accordance with Quebec distance-contract rules, if a product is not delivered within the advertised timeframe, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

3. Returns and refunds

• Full refund: you get back everything you paid, taxes included.
• Partial refund: the refunded amount is prorated, taxes included.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

4. Vendor rules

Every merchant selling on aubaine.ca agrees to the following rules:

1. Commission. aubaine.ca's share is the one in effect at the time of sale (percentage or fixed amount, plus applicable taxes on this service). It is locked at sale time: a later rate change never affects a past sale.
2. Refunds. Each party returns exactly what it received. Payment-processing fees, which the gateway does not refund, are borne by the vendor. A refund caused by the vendor's fault (non-delivery, non-conforming product) is entirely at the vendor's expense.
3. Negative balance. If a reversal exceeds the vendor's balance, the vendor remains liable for the shortfall, collected from future sales or the linked account. Payouts and the store may be suspended until resolved.
4. Chargebacks. A chargeback attributable to the vendor is billed back to them, dispute fees included. The vendor provides requested evidence (tracking, correspondence) within 3 business days.
5. Shipping. Ship within the displayed delivery time, tracking number mandatory. In dropshipping, the vendor remains solely responsible for delays, customs and compliance. Without proof of shipment with tracking, the vendor loses any recourse in a dispute.
6. Payouts. Payout after shipping confirmation. New vendors are subject to a longer payout schedule during their probation period.
7. Products and compliance. Prohibited: counterfeits, recalled or non-compliant products, regulated products without permits. aubaine.ca may remove a product or suspend a store without notice.
8. Taxes. The vendor is responsible for the tax obligations on their sales. aubaine.ca's commission is billed to them with applicable taxes.
9. Customer data. Contact details shared for shipping are used solely to fulfill the order. No solicitation, no list resale.
10. Suspension. Fraud, counterfeiting or repeated disputes: immediate suspension, balances withheld to cover open disputes, then termination.

5. Your personal information

Your information is handled according to our privacy policy, compliant with Quebec's Law 25. Card payment data never passes through our servers: it is processed directly by the payment gateway.
